On December 22, 2018, a deadly tsunami caused by the eruption of Anak Krakatau volcano has devastated the coasts of Banten on the island of Java and Lampung in Sumatra. More than 400 people have been reported dead, 14,000 injured, and more than 40,000 people have been displaced.
To help the tsunami’s survivors, we at CERDAS Foundation are mobilizing efforts to provide immediate support and relief. We are collecting funds for distribution to those impacted by the disaster. CERDAS is collaborating with local Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) with access to the affected areas to bring timely and effective relief to the victims.
